The highest railway arch bridge in the world.
The steel arch of the Chenab bridge carries the railway about 359 metres above the river, on the line that links the Valley to the rest of India's rail network. It was designed to withstand high winds and strong earthquakes.

- The bridge deck is higher above the river than the Eiffel Tower is tall.
