If a photograph here is yours and the credit is wrong, or it should not be here at all, this is how to say so.

Where the photographs come from
Every photograph on this site was taken from Wikimedia Commons, where it was published under a licence that allows reuse, or is in the public domain. For each one the site records the author, the licence and a link back to its page, and shows all three wherever the photograph appears. No photograph is generated, and no stock photography is used.
If a credit is wrong
Credits are taken from the information published alongside each file, and that information is sometimes incomplete or out of date. Tell us the exhibit, what the credit currently says and what it should say, and it will be corrected.
If a photograph should not be here
Write to the address below and include, as far as you can: the exhibit page or the address of the photograph; enough detail to identify which photograph you mean; who you are and what your relationship to the work is; and why it should be removed, for example that the licence it was published under was not valid.
Requests are read by a person, not a queue. The aim is to reply within a few days. A photograph that is genuinely in dispute is taken down first and discussed afterwards; the exhibit then shows as a text placard, which costs the site nothing and is how a third of the collection is already shown.
The writing
The historical text was written for this site rather than copied. If you believe a passage is too close to something you wrote, quote both and it will be looked at and rewritten if it is.
