The shrine of Sheikh Hamza Makhdoom on Hari Parbat.
Sheikh Hamza Makhdoom was a Sufi teacher of the 16th century whose followers spread across the Valley. His shrine, reached by a long flight of steps up the side of Hari Parbat, is one of the most visited in Srinagar.
Facts
- It shares the hill with the Sharika Devi shrine and a Sikh gurdwara, and the Mughal walls run below.
